The association has been actively involved in the development of industry standards since inception and is recognised by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority as the peak ballooning organisation in Australia. The association members fly around 10,000 hours each year carrying more than 150,000 passengers annually. This represents more than 85% of all balloon activity in Australia. |
